Yes. X-Server is a cloud-hosted database-as-a-service.
Instead of tables, a X-Server database stores its data in collections. A collection holds one or more JSON documents. Documents are analogous to records or rows in a relational database table. Each document has one or more fields; fields are similar to the columns in a relational database table.
If a database does not exist, X-Server creates the database when you first store data for that database.
If a collection does not exist, X-Server creates the collection when you first store data for that collection.
Not directly, no. However, X-Server does support a rich query language of its own. For examples on using MongoDB’s query language, see Operations.
